Relative Efficiency or Efficiency Ratio!
The ratio of the thermal efficiency of an actual cycle to the thermal efficiency of an ideal cycle is known as relative efficiency or efficiency ratio.
The efficiency ratio is a very useful metric that reveals the engine’s level of development.
Relative Efficiency = Actual thermal efficiency / Air standard efficiency
