Indicated thermal efficiency is the ratio of Indicated power to the fuel power generated through combustion.
Fuel power is equal to mass of fuel per second multiplied by calorific value of fuel.
Fuel power = mass of fuel/s X calorific value of fuel
Indicated thermal efficiency = Indicated power / Fuel power
